The thematic scope of the INiG – PIB Publications includes the following fields of science: geology, geophysics, geochemistry, drilling, exploitation, gas and oil technology, as well as environmental aspects related to hydrocarbon extraction. Monographs or articles on issues other than those mentioned above will not be accepted for publication.
The publishing house specializes in providing knowledge in the field of: geology and geochemistry, exploration and drilling geology, drilling and testing of oil and gas deposits, optimization of drilling technology, reservoir engineering and development of crude oil and natural gas, gas transport and storage, fuel balance -energetics, optimization of gas use, improvement of petroleum processing, development of raw materials analytics, semi-finished products and products using modern methods of instrumental analysis, economic and organizational issues related to the oil industry, information on the domestic and foreign oil industry, environmental protection, including reclamation of areas after exploration and production of hydrocarbons. Encouraging cooperation and sending work to the Editorial Staff, INiG – PIB stresses that it is constantly developing a publishing program especially of scientific works and specialist publications, carefully elaborated in terms of editorial and graphics in the field of: hydrocarbon exploration and production in Poland and topics related to the entirety of oil-related activities and natural gas, as well as related disciplines, including: exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits, through storage, transport, distribution and use of natural gas, crude oil and petroleum products, up to the development and improvement of liquid fuel production technologies.
All scientific works, monographs and specialist publications published by Wyd. INiG – PIB have a modern graphic design (in full color), individually designed covers (so-called "hard" binding), very good quality paper and professional printing technology.
