Range of activities:
- reservoir characterization that features digitizing and/or construction of the geological maps and models;
- geostatistical analysis to perform mapping, reservoir model design, and volumetrics;
- full featured multiphase, 3-D reservoir simulation model construction;
- comprehensive simulation studies including estimation of the original hydrocarbon in place in the reservoir; analysis of the past and present performance of the reservoir; prediction of the future performance under the prevailing reservoir conditions; analysis of alternative development strategies and their effect upon the produceable reserves and recovery rates; in particular, the strategies consist in employing the full field model or pattern models for:
» secondary recovery optimization with:
- gas injection;
- water injection;
- gas injection;
- reinjection of gas, water or both;
- WAG injection program;
» optimizing well spacing and completions;
» horizontal/inclined well design;
» hydraulic fracture predictions;
» special projects specific to gas/UGS reservoirs (e.g. in-situ gas-gas mixing);
- the design, construction and implementation of database systems for the purposes of oil and gas industry;
- the modeling and simulations of geological CO2 sequestration processes.
