1. Sending the text in an electronic version while maintaining the editorial standards of the monthly journal, i.e. with separately attached illustrations (photographs) in printable quality, i.e. min. 1500 × 2000 px (300 dpi), with drawings, diagrams e.g. in a vector version, charts in * .xls format.
2. The text delivered to the editorial office shall be reviewed by Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editors. After that (if the work is qualified for printing) the appropriate Associate Editor appoints two independent reviewers of the work performing the task based on the ethics policy of the monthly journal.
3. The editorial secretary, after contacting the reviewer and obtaining confirmation of readiness to carry out the review of a given scientific work, directs the article to them along with the necessary documents.
4. The time for the review depends on the reviewer's ability, but it will not be longer than 30 working days from the date of sending the material for review.
5. After obtaining two positive reviews, the text along with the comments is sent to the author, if the reviewers have made comments regarding carrying out modification in the text. The author should refer to comments and send the corrected text to the editorial office within 2 weeks of its delivery.
6. In the case of obtaining one negative and one positive review of the text, the Editor-in-Chief or Deputy Editor-in-Chief makes a decision on selecting another reviewer, whose opinion will be decisive in the matter of accepting the work for publication.
7. In case of obtaining two negative reviews, the work is removed from the publishing plan, about which the author is immediately informed by electronic means (e-mail) to a previously given electronic mailing address. The author has the right to appeal against this decision.
9. Starting the publishing process:
a) Signing with the author / authors a copyright statement.
b) Initial internal stylistic correction, followed by possible corrections by the author, including supplementation of illustrative material.
c) External stylistic correction, followed by possible corrections by the author.
d) The finished text along with the correct graphic files is sent for DTP composition.
e) The text in the target layout developed for the monthly journal „Nafta-Gaz” - after the composition of DTP - is forwarded to the author / authors to verify the correctness of the composition and subsequent correction.
f) In the absence of errors in the text after the composition of DTP, all of the material is sent to the printing house.
